I started coloring the sketch.
The color combination is crazy, if you look at the image and concentrate you can make your own picture.
This is taking quite a while to color, I put a lot of detail into this. I’m having a lot of fun with this one. The colors are fun to experiment with.
People have been getting close to guessing the drawing. Now that there is color, can anyone see the picture?
A cougar or lioness???

No sorry, good guess tho.

I swear I can actually see a cougar – if I can print it I could show you 🙂oh how I love art for this very reason! Have you done an exhibition? You work is so fun and different!

Hello Brandon! I guess I’m one of the few lucky people to have found your blog. Thank you so much for the likes on my blog, for that’s actually what brought me to your lovely site💖 Thanks a lot!!
You’re one amazingly talented person, and so sweet to read your about page! It feels so good to find another young talent!! I’ve a special space for art in my life, and majorly a guilt, because I’ve stopped painting and sketching. My interest has hopped from art to literature. It’s a bitter as well as sweet thing.
Oh sorry i just got carried away lol!!
What I’m saying is that artists have always been close to my heart, in fact my best friend, is also a beautiful artist. I’m definitely gonna recommend your blog to her. She’ll love it, I’m damn sure. She’s also intp blogging, but not much active there. Here’s the link to her blog- muskanlambablog.wordpress.com
Happy blogging!! I’ll be here again and again. FOR SURE.
Lots of love,
Apeksha💕

Hey, it seems to be hahaha. No problem, keep working on your writings and you’ll improve over time. Just don’t rush anything. Let the words come to you don’t think about them. Thank you for looking at my blog as well! Yes I see what you’re saying. To be honest I wasn’t even going to make art anymore. It all happened so suddenly. I was thinking about life a lot and I’ve decided I’m doing what I was brought here to do. Art, without art we would have nothing in this world. I almost threw it all away like most people do. But somehow here I an and I’m making arr. Life is just amazing like that. As long as you are happy and doing what you want you’ll be okay in the end. Maybe you can go back to drawing and painting. Just here and there don’t completely drop it. I recently picked up writing as a skill too. Happens on accident. Started writing a book ( my philosophys) since I have enough followers on here I’m thinking I’ll start sharing those soon. No worries talk all you want I love conversations. I understand you’re in the moment of explaining your feelings. Art people just get along it’s an art thing. Thanks!! All the support helps, one day I will just make art and nothing else but for now the world challenges me but I accept this challenge. Or life would be to easy. Hopefully your friend likes my blog.
I’ll check here blog out.
Happy blogging to you too. Sounds good to me haha.
I spread much love and happiness to you too! Have a happy Sunday!! 🙂

You’re so sweet and kind! I’m so very happy after reading all you said above. Absolutely agreed. Thanks for respecting my words, and reciprocating my sentiments! You make this blogosphere a little more wonderful. And lives of people like me? A LOT MORE.
Great to know about the book, tell me more!! Ykw, I’m getting an anthology of all my poems published. I’m sure you’re gonna like it, for this friend of mine has prepared the cover art and illustrations too!! I guess you’ll be one amazing reader for this fourteen year old me!!
Thanks a lot, keep in touch!

Thanks! We’re all the same person, so I treat all people the same. I guess If that’s what your telling me. Thanks, hahaha. Well the book has a theory or subject. Each section/ chapter I don’t know what you would call it. I’ll post it as I feel because art is my own creation. There is no correct way. That’s awesome actually, good for you! Hope your writings will make a difference in this world! Didn’t know you are 14, that’s crazy keep working on your craft. You know what you want before most people do. I wasn’t like that. You a few steps ahead of everyone else. Keep doing what you’re doing! Sounds good. Thank you, as well. Talk to you later.

My teacher used to say the devil is the detail. (I get the meaning not sure of the connotation)
LikeLiked by 1 person
What’s the meaning? I’ll try to figure the other thing out.
LikeLike
There’s a saying God is the detail which means attention paid on the little things fetches big rewards.
Somehow it turned into devil is the detail which probably means something might look simple or understandable in the first look but the hidden meanings behind it actually define it.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Okay I get what your saying at the beginning.
So people like the art but the meaning is more important? They don’t know the true meaning. I could hide things in my art.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Maybe you already did hide something in there. A layman couldn’t be able to tell! They say great artists hide secrets in their art. Things only they knew. Which Made it more interesting. Think about Mona Lisa, the beauty lies in that smile because we don’t know what it means. (Have a few theories wouldn’t bore you with that) but that could be an example to this idiom.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Okay yeah I understand now. The hidden message. It could mean anything but you’ll never know.

If you plan on doing that at least fill me in on that secret after all I gave you the idea 😁😉

I used to think it just means it’s all about the detail. Details make the art. But guess is deeper than that.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Detail is important but not always. Guess is deeper? When you guess but they leave you thinking? It’s deeper.

Abstract is the best! Like if nobody in followers could guess what the animal is you could leave it abstract. Keep people guessing. That is always fun to do. But if it’s somebody like me, not knowing would kill me! I’m guessing you’re too kind to do that to people. You’ll give us answers when the art is done
LikeLiked by 1 person
Agreed. Usually no one can guess till I color the image. I tell them at the end. I’m just starting out, I have many more pieces to make, I’ll probably leave you guessing a few times. Never know till I make the art.

I had a fun time reading people attempt to guess what it was. Must be fun for you as well. Although maybe a little frustrating at times as well. By the time I took a guess I was hoping you wouldn’t flip out and say quit guessing guys you’ll find out soon enough.

With detail there could be mistakes?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Mistakes are inevitable, aren’t they? That’s our saving grace! Why on Earth are you worried about mistakes in the detail. For an artist so widely appreciated you should be proud of yourself. In a down to earth humble way 😋

Yeah I believe all art is good no matter what hahah. I get what you’re saying. Yeah I’m probably one of the happiest calmest people you would ever meet.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yeah I totally get that calm vibe from you! Even your lines are soft (drawing lines that surprisingly tell a lot about one’s psychology) but it make me wonder what your Inspiration is. I’ve seen, met, lived with of artists-well, Since I was in design school-but I can’t figure out your drive yet.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Well that’s good. Yeah I don’t draw hard I’m loose on the paper. I don’t belive in inspiration. You can say all you want to anyone, but in the end it’s on them your words did nothing. You get what I’m saying? I guess my drive is life. I think about death a lot. I’ll never know when I will die so I love every day the best I can.
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yeah I do actually. I get what you’re saying. Your inspiration and explanations are wasted on people. That gives them a reason to judge your work or to relate it to something. Like they understand it somehow through A few words.
LikeLiked by 1 person
I don’t waste it on people I’ll still tell you my words just mean nothing. Till you use them like money for example you purchase something. The words were used. Yes they make their own definition.

I know exactly what you mean! Did you study art or were you naturally gifted?

Naturally gifted I guess, I’ve always been an artist. I have my thoughts on it. I’ve practiced many hours. If you go on my instagram, you’ll see my old art. Over time you see the improvement. In high school I had a lot of art all year senior year. I had art all day 3rd and 4th term.
