Quote 16

This saying/quote involves my art and to life.

Example, the “Iguana” I drew it was very challenging. I took countless breaks and deep breaths. When I was drawing or coloring, at times my arm felt like jello.

I needed to relax and draw with less weight on the paper.

Challenging yourself like this is good. It was very frustrating and hard in the moments of making the “Iguana” Yes drawing comes natural in a way, but the more detail the difficulty goes up.

Imagine if the only things I created made me react with some challenge.

I got tense and had to take multiple breaks and many deep breaths. Think about it sitting here for countless hours making art gets tiring. Your body is still in one position for hours. Soreness starts to occur. I get up and stretch sometimes.

Then go back to the drawing, you have to push yourself self or the drawing will just sit there and never get done.

The only one that will finish the drawing is me. If I do nothing, the drawing will be still.

So in the end, I can never give up or I would have quit art a long time ago, I feel like giving up all the time. But in the moment is when you can push yourself and become a greater person than who you were before.

Keep doing this and greatness will come your way. If you give up, except what you expect, but don’t be surprised what you’re handed with.

I would have no art being produced. That would make me sad. I could never imagine a world without art and the thrill it gives to my life.

Drawing is the same as life, in my analogy. I can create whatever I want. Everything is art.

So if you understand what i’m trying to say, what have you came up with?

  1. This is a challenge that am gonna take. Been lazy to finish up my 2 stories, I love writing but at times I’ve got too much going on.
But am gonna take this challenge and try to finish up at least one or half way.
Good work, keep doing what you love.

    • Mhhh, challenging yourself. I like it.
I understand I’m I’m the same position but with drawing.
I belive you can finish both of them, just don’t rush it let it come but don’t wait till forever.

If you create in a tense situation the result might not be the best. Be free.

Thanks you as well, keep doing what you love. Have an awesome Monday!

  2. Hi there, just wanna drop this …
When I saw your page I was reminded how I really wanted to draw a lot when I was in H.S.
Poetry then is my way of withhelding myself.
And quotes, that’s what makes me keep going in life. I might not pursue what I planned to be way back but it never stopped me from making ways to go on. 😊

  3. Brandon, I absolutely love how you have put this together. There are times when things just feel so out of place that giving up seems to be the only option. But in all reality if we push that tad bit harder, we can make it through this bumpy road. The strength to do great things lies within the way we perceive ourselves and the things that surround us. Also, I absolutely adore how you pour out your thoughts and emotions in the form of vivid colors. Its actually really fascinating for me ! 🙂

    • Thank you! Yeah I feel like that everyday of my life to be honest, hahaha. Yes I agree. Thank you, I just write what I’m thinking in the moment I never plan anything. I literally plan my drawings on spot and look for a drawing. Not pre planned.

  4. Thank you, yeah that could be it. One other thing that pushes me everyday us thinking about death. Not in a creepy way but a happy joyful way. Here I am alive, I might as well perform at the best I can. I could just not be here, you know.

I’m posting the finished drawing today, keep your eye out for it. Thank you again, have a great Monday!

  5. Thankyou for sharing..that reminds me very much of myself..ive been really in depressed mode for months and almost paralyzed with fear. Almost in a way like writers block. I saw a photo yesterday and a lightbulb just went off in my head…i was truly inspired and started believing I could be very successful in every aspect of myself. I have to push forward..believe and never never give up. I have to really face my fear head on. Thanks for the great reminder.

    • No problem! 🙂

I know exactly what you’re saying,

Thanks for sharing your story here, my quote could be a sign for you. A sign from the universe to never give up. An example of how my mind works, hahaha.

      Yes fear help build you.

We all have to fall and all have to get up, it’s just the ones who get up become stronger than before. Or you can just grow some dust on yourself and give up. Forget the skill and never try, sounds very sad.

No problem, happy you could relate to this! 🙂

Have a great weekend, and remember imprint the thought in your mind and you can “manifest” each and every thought. Just don’t give up :).
