As I said in the last post, the proportions were messed up. When drawing this piece I noticed things wern’nt matching up.
I had to erase a major section and restart. If it looks a little different don’t be confused. I rather restart on a little part than being lazy and ignore it. Perform at your best.
With what I have done so far, does anyone have an idea what this could be? Look closely at every detail and try to imagine within your head what you see. You might see more than 1 object or thing. Or maybe you see nothing.
Just look and observe that’s all I ask for.

Thank you, happy I adapted to this style. Everything happens for a reason. So I look at it as if the style picked me in a weird mysterious way.

I also have no clue, but I am thinking you should take hi-res photos of these before you start painting them, and reproduce them as paint-by-numbers!

That’s okay, you’ll have to wait till the next update. You mean for people to color in? I’m getting equipment soon. Need a special camera.

Just going on the fact that it appears to be a human silhouette. Do you use tiling theory to come up with your triangle mappings?

Okay you can go with that. I find a normal photo. I edit it and play with it. Add my own colors and shapes. I looked that up, so I guess yes I do.

Yeah in a way. It’s similar. Each major part in a section then cut down. Repeat the same pattern sometimes.

Yeah! There’s a little-known image compression technique,

that analyzes the image for fractally-repeating patterns and replaces them with the fractal formula that duplicates them. Slow to compress, supposedly can compress images a lot, and can actually uncompress an image to a higher resolution than the original while still looking good. Haven’t seen it in action myself and I think the process is patented.

It all sounds really crazy. Imagine the first person to make this art. The views were all so confused. I would be amazed. That art is a little out there if you know what I’m saying, hahaha. I like it tho it’s interesting. I’m not sure if it’s patented that wold suck.

I think the patent only applies to using it as an image compression process. You’re doing something more along the lines of deconstructing the image to tiles, then coloring the tiles. Almost like stained glass or mosaic.

No I’ve never been introduced to it. Don’t have the materials. I’m poor, hahah. Seems expensive glass.

Yeah, glass would be expensive. Mosaic, on the other hand: Check out Maison du Picassette in Chartres, France. Entirely done using found materials.

I’ve never cared for abstract art but yours is very different and I am thinking that many hours are needed to produce so many shapes. It’s wonderful to see.

Thank you! Appreciate the compliment. Yes it takes me 24-50 hours usually depends on the size. I draw the same amount each day. When I do draw. Takes me a few weeks to finish a piece. All other life to focus on, hahha. One day I wish for full time art.
