Paint added to the canvas.

catus

When I applied the first stroke of paint to the canvas, I was feeling iffy on how this will turn out.

Like I said before It has been around 1.5-2 years. Haven’t painted something since I’ve been in high school. Don’t have random canvases and paints laying everywhere. I wish I did, maybe one day.

For art being such an expensive subject. Materials can be costly. Which is very ironic in a way, the starving artist saying. No money, but still somehow can afford expensive art supplies over food.

Never really understood why art materials cost so much, but then again, it makes total sense in the end.

Whenever making art I try my best to apply the rule of no anxiety and just Create. I can’t have a second voice in my mind while painting. The painting just needs to be painted without second and third guessing.

Paint, breath and hope for the best outcome. Never give up, but don’t put too much work into your work. Just the perfect amount where you can go at a constant jog and feel comfortable.

Saying that, here I continue painting this and the future will give us an answer.

As of right now I’m feeling decent about where I’m at. It takes a while of filling in the colors and pieces till everything makes sense. using the style I use under certain moments my eyes get very strained with all the lines and colors.

When that happens, I have to take a moment to breath and realize everything is okay. To paint under pressure isn’t to even paint at all, but similar to forcing a job/duty that you don’t even enjoy. Destoying the purpose of true art.

Use love when creating art not tension and anxiety.

As of right now, what do you see in the image above?

Thank you everyone, have a great evening!

  1. This to me is a desert scene, because I love desert scenes. A lot of artists used to make their own paint (no guarantee of the longevity of said items, and some of them were highly toxic).

    • Your idea of the painting seems to be corrrect. The next update you’ll know for sure.

I’ve heard of things like that before. They probably didn’t bother to check. Made them make better art. Kidding, hahaha.
      Horrible joke opps. 😀

    • That must be a lovely morning walk.

Nature is a beautiful thing in the worst of times and the ugliest somehow the true beauty still shines.
      Never the less.

One time my mom bought flowers for the front and she never took care of them. Weeks later a bunch of sun flowers grew. It was beautiful.

Flowers died and it’s as if they reincarnated into a beautiful greater version of itself. The process was amazing.

One of the most beautiful things ever. Nature.

    • Thanks!
I understand, everyone follows at a different time and joins at a different process.
If that’s what you say, haha. Not sure what I’ll teach you. But thanks. Appreciate the kind words.

Still working on it for a few more hours tonight. The color array is a little crazy now.

Yeah, one thing I’ve noticed is my speed on art is increasing very fast. It’s second nature developing in my brain.

I appreciate your effort, feedback and time you put into my work/ art page.

      Will do. ;p

You’ve been drawing since you were 2years old?

        Okay, I understand.

Hopefully, hahha. I believe in myself. I just shut my brain off and go into art mode.
I have a swith I can hit, then I leave this universe.

      • Okay okay, hahah. I thought you meant just 2 years. But I wasn’t sure. Was just asking to justify.

Yeah that works, we’re all different.

Hahah. You know what I mean. All artist have one. Some can control it better than others.

Have a great mindset and an ambition for art. You need the drive and it’ll come to you.

Without the love and drive for something it doesn’t come natural it’s “work”

        Love your comments, hahah. 😀
Are conversations always ended up in a different direction, hahah

I’m thinking on the weekend. Have 100’s of things in my phone. Started writing them down. Have a cool idea for all of this.

True, not sure what I’m doing after this painting.

      • Just do what you like. Write what you would like to … anything you so will become great if you do with your heart, if your soul is willing to do it. 🙂😊

    • Happy you can relate and agree with that.

You should use love in everything you do in general.

Love will be the only thing that heal the world. Art creates more love on the world then anything else. That’s what I belive.

Everything is art and everything is love. Hahaha my crazy mind thinking crazy things.

      • Good, hahah.

One day I wish i could teach the children art, would be interesting. Children are clean little souls walking around on this world, so adorable.

Then brought up into the true reality of this world.

Art is the thing that can heal their reality, similar to me I guess. Hahah.

Children are the best artist, I look at children’s art and “professional” the children’s art seems to use more creativity and originality.

Was randomly talking there. Off topic, hahah.

      • All so true. Every spring I have an art show for the community. Children study art and use real artist paints and tools to make their masterpieces, worked on over many days until they are satisfied. I post about the show with photos every spring, so stay tuned! If you live in New England please come and be a guest artist in my class! 🙂

    • Mhhhh. Love your observations.

I see part of what you see.

They’re quite descriptive. I can see what you’re seeing as well.

Posting an update later today, have a lot more color added, after that maybe you’ll have an idea.

      Thank you! 🙂

    • When writing this in the moment, that line felt perfect to me. Makes me realize I need to do the same.

There’s no need to stress in art or you’re not creating but forcing. Then it’s not art, remember that.

Thank you, I want you to belive in yourself as well.

Never give up! Have a great day.

    • Good for her. Hopefully she’s ready, I know I wasn’t. Now I’m getting adjusted.

Thank you for doing that for your daughter. Her mother being you is a beautiful soul for doing that. You give and give, I respect you for that. Not being greedy but understanding.

I agree, because of expenses people give up on art, it’s sad. If I ever make it somewhere, the goal is to donate most of what I make to poor schools and places that can’t afford art supplies. Spread some love on this world. Make a change of some sort, for the better.

Your observation is quite correct, you’ll have to wait and see.
