Update on the drawing.

Here is the progress as of right now.

Like I said before, the main focus of this piece is the detail.

Not sure how I’m feeling about this piece. But I always feel unsure about all my pieces. Knowing when to be “finished” is quite difficult sometimes.

The colors and shapes seem to take longer than the sketch.

Now I begin drawing and see what we come up with. Hopefully, this turns out the way I’m imagining.

Won’t give up, but won’t seek perfection either. In a way, a messy unrealistic creation drives you a little crazy. Also, the most creative and fun to express in my opinion. Abstract sometimes messes with your mind, but perfection is ignored. Unrealistic things occur abnormal things.

That’s the fun of it, creating things that aren’t existent. In the end, nothing matters in art. Be free with it don’t let it possess you. Create away, you can always just create a new piece don’t stress yourself. Sketch an idea or write it down if you don’t want to lose it.

There are ways of tricking your mind out of fear.

    • Mhhhhh……

I’m hoping everyone will like it, if not. Well it was a long learning process. Just like the rest of my art, no need to fuss. I’m still alive, hahaha.

A bad art day is better than no art day. ๐Ÿ˜€

      I’ll leave you in a stare. ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • I can imagine why you would see an elpahant.

      It’s in plain sight.

Looks like a trunk of some sort. Using the visuals you gave me. That’s what I see in my imagination.

I guess we’ll have to finish up the sketch and see what we come up with.

Have a great day by the way! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I can kinda imagine what you’re seeing here.

I vision something and then I see another larger piece to the side.

Maybe it’s another figure of some sort.

Can’t fell as of right now. Will have to continue and see what happens.

      • There’s always a word for something, hahahaha.

I looked it up and I totally understand, well I’m happy I’m accidentally do this method.

It’s fun and interesting to do it this way. Makes it a game in my mind. Can mess with people plus it’s 100% originality you use your own mind and nothing else.

Thanks for the share! Appreciate it. ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy you like the art. ๐Ÿ˜€

      • See, you are doing this without realizing it. Nothing is harder than a pre-planned activity. Talk about killing imagination! The best art studio that does exactly this for creating art, with tons of supplies and whatever you need provided, is at the Eric Carle Museum. It is AMAZING. Makes sense, because Eric Carle was that kind of an artist. So, you keep doing it, Brandon.

  1. I love this, especially what you said about still continuing despite being unsure and how you don’t seek perfection. It takes a lot of self-control to say to yourself, “Stop. It is done.”
    Good luck and happy drawing!

    • Thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, you can’t seek perfection in life. It will drive you crazy, up the wall hahaha. It’s impossible, art helps you learn nothings perfect.

And that everything is suppose to be crazy hahaha.

A lot of mind power, hahaha.

Thanks you appreciate the wishes. ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a great day as well!

But yes, I understand your visuals as well.

  2. Also see 2 animals, greeting each other, I don’t know their english names but they do live in the Andes, and they are kept for their wool/hair. They have bigger relatives that spit when angry
Have a happy art year Brandon.

    • Thanks. ๐Ÿ™‚

I can image what you’re seeing. Using a part of my imagination I don’t usually use. Which is okay.

      Love the imagination. Very original.

Yes two figures at the moment for everyone.

Yes the bottom part is quite abstract, hahaha. ๐Ÿ™‚

Very good use of the imagination.

I’ve seen a lama before, very interesting animal. One spit at me before it was mad.

Awesome to know you’re all the way from Germany! Greetings from the United states. ๐Ÿ™‚
