The other day this thought/ quote went through my head.

My mind is a very curious thing. At times I don’t understand or know where the thoughts or ideas come from. They just kinda happen.

My goal as an artist is to create ideas and art so crazy that even myself questions my own ideas. To be so creative it could bring the unknown and unthought of. The imagination can take you quite far. Much out of this reality.

When drawing or in deep thought, my mind will tell me or give me ideas. I write them down instantly or draw a little sketch out in my mind or on some paper. So I don’t forget them, the mind is moving so fast it is easy to forget something.

Subconscious thoughts are the creative inside thoughts, being you in the end. The things that interest you. The things that make you happy. Things you’re curious towards.

Then there’s the conscious mind that is in contact with you at all times. This thing we call “the real world.” This mind is here all the time. Some might not be familiar with the term “subconscious.” I’ll try my best to simplify an example of what this word means.

The “Subconscious mind” is the mind you enter when you’re out of your body. Thinking about the things you shouldn’t be thinking about. We all do it, it’s just many don’t notice. Take some time to take a journey through that crazy mind of yours. All through those thoughts and dreams that you see. Swimming throughout your mind, entering all parts.

We all use out ‘subconscious minds” in different amounts. I happen to be an “Artist” so my time is spent thinking about crazy unrealistic things. If someone tells me “That is not realistic.” Then that makes me want to do it even more.

Art isn’t supposed to be realistic. Nothing is realistic.

Certain individuals can enter the subconscious easier than others. I’m not saying certain people are “better” than others. It’s just some think a lot more than others.

In the end, we can all create art, you just have to apply yourself. An art of being yourself and being happy. Art can apply to anything in the end. Being yourself is a form of art, you have to act everything you do every day. Without action, we would all be nothing but puppets or sticks with strings.

There’s this voice I hear or the maker of these ideas, I came up with a name.

I’d like to call this voice/ idea maker in my mind. The “Higher Self.” The self that usually doesn’t think. Most are engaged in all different things in this world. The brain is very fair and works with you, it can let you do anything you wish. It’s all up to the user of the brain. The soul or “energy” powering each individual.

Few times I forget my thoughts and sketches, I hate when that happens hahaha.

Here’s an example of “color”, I can share within my mind to make you question the everyday colors you see.

Here I sit typing this at this very moment. The computer I’m using is the color black. The mouse I’m using is red. The sweatshirt I’m wearing is purple. The banana sitting next to me is yellow.

What I’m trying to say is each “item” or “individual thing” has its own color. A color, but also a shape as well. When I tell you a word, usually you’ll think of a shape for that word. Some expression or emotion of some sort.

Each color represents a different emotion, shapes do to I guess. I would assume so in a way.

When I think of all of the colors, I usually think of fruits and veggies. I’ll name the colors and a fruit for each.

Red- Apple, pepper, tomato, cherry, strawberry.

Yellow- Banana, pepper, lemon, pineapple

Blue- blueberry, grapes, pomegranate

Green- kale, cucumber, pear, kiwi, peas, avocado

Orange- Pepper, orange, carrot, sweet potato.

Purple- Grapes, fig, plum

I eat a lot of these fruits and veggies. The rainbow has all these colors, it’s very interesting because all the colors we see around us are the colors of the rainbow. Vibrations and light create each individual color. Tones and tints can be added to each color to lighten or darken the color. The light on earth can do that too, it’s that powerful. Hahahaha.

The universe is an artist itself. Creating all the colors and shapes we see now. That produces a lot of energy each day. I might sound crazy to most individuals but what’s new. I have heard many opinions and words of others.

It just amazes me that each item has its own color and shape. Why does each item have its own color and why that color. Why not a different color or shape. I don’t understand hahaha. Yes, I’m very crazy and I accept that.

The reason why I’m thinking of colors to this degree is that of fruits and vegetables.

Each fruit has a color and each vegetable has a color. The colors found in fruits and vegetables are found in the world. This makes sense in my mind, hopefully, it does in another. If not, this is an interesting story that I shared.

My last thought. This is quite confusing, but I’ll try.

Paint, each paint has its own color. When you mix paint it changes color. So in that moment of time, does the light in the atmosphere bend to that color at that perfect time? Aligning the colors to whatever it becomes. In a sense messing with time itself.

Art lets you create a past, present, and future all in one.

In a way, this is the creation of life you can say. Each day the sun shines down and paints a beautiful array of color all across this beautiful earth. It’s not”our” earth no on posses anything. We all just put labels and such on things. In the end, all we possess is this soul and not even this body.

Being an artist you can imagine things most don’t. Similar to a lot of these words I’ve just said. All individuals are an artist, its just only a few express themselves to this world and most stay locked up inside instead.

Remember anything is possible don’t give up on your “dreams” create your dreams into this reality one way or another.

Giving up is for a coward, giving up is always the easiest, giving up takes less energy than any energy used at all. If all you can do is drag yourself, you drag yourself across the floor. Each step adds to the last, to fall down the steps is not wished upon. It’s only the ones who get back up that make it in this life.

Believe in yourself and have faith in yourself, or don’t even attempt at all. Go 110% or don’t even try at all. There is no need in wasting time if you do something you might as well go all the way, then half way or part of the way.

Here’s one last thought to mess with your “subconscious mind.”

“Imagine if you could control the colors and shapes of your reality. Everything that you see, you can create within your own hands. Anything is possible and all ideas can happen. Art is a perfect example of this. I literally can draw whatever shape or color I want. Creating my own reality, in the end, all within my hands. Nothing is here to stop you, but yourself and the negative thoughts, destroying your self-image.”

  2. Makes perfect sense to me. I think of that higher self voice as the collective Oneness of us all that expresses itself through each one of us in a unique way. It always beckons past the known into the benign power what is shared and all the possibilities that await us there.

      We’re all dark, without expressing the dark feeling you’ll be a bottle of emotions locked up. The seal to only open when the bottle burts.

      The flow of energy can be controlled and that’s the best way to do this.

      Art helps control your energy levels.

  5. Coincidentally, I have just returned from a “Paint Jam”, where each person is given a small canvas and a pallet with primary colours. What one paints is entirely between the individual and one’s skill level. I free-style painted and at least did not do stick figures. No harm, no foul. I also see a full gamut of colours in flowers, birds and fish.

  9. A very good post! I like when you have to read all the way to then and occasionally go back to re-read a previous paragraph. We are all artists and we do shape our world through our emotions and attitudes.
