Was planning to post an update sooner than this. The art day was moved around, didn’t have time to post. Focused more on drawing instead of posting. Doubt if anyone cares.
My mind craves to draw but I thought it would be a good idea to take a picture now. You can say the drawing is about halfway finished.
The bottom half is larger shapes with small shapes too. The top half has a lot of little shapes and detail.
The sketch was quite quick for this drawing. The coloring is taking a while. A lot of little details. Attempting my best to put the “correct” color in each shape. To separate the color and put the correct tone in each shape.
Taking it one shape at a time, can’t stress the art or isn’t art. Have fun with the process.
These colors aren’t making me bored at all, hahaha. I love this array of colors at the moment.
The red has been the most difficult so far. Similar to what I said before, trying to use the “correct” tones in each red. Color separation is key. The angle of the shape matters too.
Now we continue and see what happens…..

Of course we care! I love that you’re putting your art first and sharing second. You can show off your progress to everyone else but you have to work on it before you share it. It looks marvelous!

It is taking wondrous shape. I have an inkling, as to who is lurking above the coloured portion. As he is a controversial figure in history, I will keep the guess to myself, for now.

The cool thing about this art form is that it looks like one is painting in a mirror, or that the object is shiny when it’s actually the blending of colour that creates the effect.

Great perspective, maybe one day I could actually attempt something like that. I’ll do something no one has ever thought off.
Just have to get really creative and curious.
