Complete drawing. (Small details)

face 1

The sketch is complete. There is a chance a few areas were missed. With all the shapes and detail my mind will forget a few things.

You can always go back and add to the sketch. Ignore rushing the process. The control of the energy is all up to you. Move as you please. If I see something missing I can add to the sketch at that moment.

Look closely and observe the drawing. Try to take one part at a time and create an image in your mind.

I recommend squinting your eyes when looking at the image. When you squint your eyes the shapes connect and create a full picture. Blurring the image together.

With this drawing, I decided to challenge myself even more than last time. You need to be out of your comfort zone to grow and expand. Step outside the box you are within.

Hopefully, this drawing turns out the way I’m imagining.

Each drawing I get this weird feeling it won’t turn out, but I still believe in myself. I’m pretty sure it is the perfectionist in the artist.

You can never be certain of anything but sometimes you need to settle. Trust the process and everything will be okay in the end. You create your own reality. Create at your best.

  1. ‘I recommend squinting your eyes when looking at the image. When you squint your eyes the shapes connect and create a full picture. Blurring the image together.’ Its magical. I see something new every time I do that.

  2. Can I ask you one thing..?? I just love this type of art, as it needs a lot of patience and perseverance… What is this art called..?? I mean, any particular name of this type of art, from where did it originate etc.. sorry for the botheration, but I’m really inquisitive, need to know this,.. was thinking of asking you, but hesitated anyhow.. will love to know more about this in Google if I can get it’s name or so..?? Hope I didn’t disturb you.. 🤔🙂

    • Yeah go for it.

Because of art my patience is at a max.

I don’t mind that you ask. We ask question to learn things. Don’t be shy.

Okay, I’ll attempt my best to answer.

I just call my art “abstract” or “geometric abstract” I don’t have a specific name for it.

Not trying to boast but the style was created by myself. Just experimenting and playing around with the colors and shapes.

Over time in about 1-2 years I have created this style on my own.

If I ever “make it” in the art world possibly the style will just be named after me hahah.

I don’t want that though. My ego isn’t high enough to name something after myself.

Thank for asking this question and don’t hesitate to any question.

  4. I squinted an immediately saw a court jester. Until today, I was clueless. Will eagerly await the piece’s completion to see if I’m right. Another intriguing work of art, Brandon!

    • Many others have said a jester as well.

That is okay you don’t need to guess every time. Just enjoy the image for itself.

It could be some time. I’m taking my time on this one.

Sounds good, happy you are waiting for the completion.

      Thank you! 🙂

  5. At first I saw a portly dance with a dress with a lot of pleats in the skirt and flaps of fabric around the arms – and you’ve not captured her (/his?) head. Or it could be an animal, but I’m not sure about all the appendages on the head. Possibly an alien. Or a dog in a costume.

    • Very descriptive. I love the imagery in your comment.

There could be a head of some sort in the image.

Loving all of your guesses. A few have guessed an alien too.

      I appreciate the comment.

      Thank you! 🙂

I can imagine a ninja turtle.

I love the ninja turtles as well. Have a ninja turtle change jar, hahaha.

A knight is a great guess as well.

I guess we will have to add color and see if your mind thinks the same.
