Started a new drawing. (Check it out!)

dsc_0257.jpg

The last drawing that was completed was “Jean Michel Basquiat.”

Took me about 2 and a half weeks to sketch and color.

If you missed the last drawing, go take a look.

To post all the updates including the final picture took about a month or so.

I often apologize about not being up to date with my posts.

It feels weird to be posting sketches I am currently not “arting” on.

The “real” world interferes with “creative minds.”

Depending on how my energy is.

I will post nothing for the longest time.

The art itself is more important than all the likes, followers, shares, and comments.

You can have millions of likes, followers, shares, and comments.

In the end, to never feel validated by other individuals.

All of that attention will have to keep manifesting itself otherwise you will feel “unloved.”

Remember to make time to love yourself.

If you forget to love yourself, you will forget how to love others.

Take some time to express your inner child instead of having your arms crossed with such a serious face.

Smile more instead of manifesting all of that negativity into your life.

Live that positive life.

Why so serious muahahahahahaah!!!!!!! (Joker’s voice)

    • We all need each other at the end of the day.

Happy you have come to that realization. It took me a little bit to realize this.

The moment and the infinite possibilities the moment can hold is the true beauty of art.

      No problem!

      Much love! ❀

  1. Well said Brandon. Been meaning to catch up with you. Funnily enough, the day before yesterday I had a play I.e. wet some card with a sponge and finger painted using blue and yellow. I have done this three times now I think, each time at a uuuuugh moment and felt more relaxed after the process.
You have given me an idea for a post.
Yes Brandon life does get in the way but thankfully you bring such joy when you post πŸ™‚πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ¨πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ¨

    • Thanks! 😊

      Love talking to people.

Interesting sounds fun. I would totally paint with a sponge. Yes it takes time to ease into things.

Eventually it comes with a natural flow. Then there is no ughhhh moment.

      • I love chatting also Brandon and I am finding my way really with my blog. Likewise I feel the number of followers or likes are unimportant as I like some form of dialogue although don’t expect it for every post. I will make it my business now during my break to look at your art.
        Take care.

      • That is good.

        Bad idea to alienate yourself.

Slowly but surely figure your blog out don’t rush it.

        Ignore the likes and followers.

        They will come and go.

        The “real” followers stay.

        I appreciate that.

Thanks for your time and energy.

        Much love!

  2. Your words are resonating with my truth hugely. And they come as a timely reminder, as well. Thank you.
Wishing you a happy art flow and a nourishing creation time while working on your sketch!

    • Happy to hear you are feeling energy from the words. 😊

Everything happen at the perfect time for a reason. You just have to grasp “it” and understand what’s going on.

No problem, thank you for your time and energy. Shows the love. ❀

      Thanks! πŸ˜€

I accept the postive vibes and send postive energy your way.

      Take it easy! πŸ˜„
