Started a new drawing

It has been a while since the last post.

I apologize again for taking forever in between posts.

“You” can only “do” so much within each day.

Do not overburden yourself.

If you overburden yourself life will not manifest out the way you imagine.

Be in control of this life instead of having this life be in control of you.

Yes, we will all fail and fall to the ground.

Being a failure does not define you.

If anything, being a failure helps you become your greatest version you can be.

If you are “perfect” all the time and try to be “perfect” life will manifest itself out in the darndest ways.

Find your center and ground yourself.

Please take a moment to look within yourself and see if “you” are happy with the “you” that is within yourself.

The source of energy that hides and lives in fear within oneself.

Free yourself.

Be yourself.

That is all you have to do.

Free yourself.

Be yourself.

  1. It’s great to see you again. Life is full of responsibilities that often take precedence over that which brings us relief and pleasure. And you are so right. Take care of yourself first. Otherwise you are of no use to either yourself or others.

  2. I know exactly how you feel, Brandon, and I agree wholeheartedly. When we strive for perfection – we lose all that is good, creative and joyful about living. Perfection simply doesn’t exist. It is yet another toxic life that media and culture in general has tried to force upon the people. We are perfect in our imperfection. If we are still growing and learning – we are accomplishing all that we need to do and be.

Do your art when it moves you to do so. We will all be here. When you need a break, take one. Pressures will only turn what you love into a chore. As you know, that’s never a good thing! You be you at your own pace.

Many blessings to you and all that you do.
