About half way done, you can say.

Worked on this yesterday. Try to post the day off, when I draw. Got too late and had no time. Rather get extra sleep instead of frantically writing a blog post just because.

You can always do something tomorrow instead of today. If the second day, even happens, don’t promise yourself the second day. It’s only thought and wished upon.

To plan the future but never know the end results. Till acted upon at the exact moment.

I only thought to make this the next day and I did. One task achieved for the day! Try to accomplish the important things crossing throughout your mind. The ones that bring you happiness, not just out of force and hatred. Thoughts within you that are hiding, thoughts you fear to express to the world. Be yourself

Don’t acknowledge the ignorant thoughts or people. Whatever thoughts are most important to you and make you happy will turn out the best in the end. The chaotic thoughts and people will throw you off balance, taking you in the wrong direction.

When posting a color update turns into a philosophical story, hahahaha. Sorry. I’m just being me in this lonesome world that appears before my eyes.

That’s just the way my mind works, everything within it is very detailed. Similar to my art, the pieces of the pieces.

Each person interprets and sees the worlds differently, creating their own story.

Within words hides greater messages, just like in art there’s a message hidden within the picture. Messages are hidden within everything. Listen for them and you’ll hear it at the correct moment in time. You’ll be appreciated that you listened

More color added

This is where I’m at the moment. Thought right now would be a good time to stop and take a picture.

Taking a short break to post, then drawing for a little bit longer.

Having fun with this one. The position of the drawing is interesting, trying my best to separate the colors and shades. To make the image as identifiable as possible.

If you look at each area of the image, your mind will create a picture over time.

First colors added

Here’s the progress of the past day or so. Took a picture before I started working on it tonight.

Taking a break right now to post a picture of my past progress. As of right now, I’m a bit further than this.

Don’t let the colors throw you off. In art, any color can go anywhere. All the colors are the same in the end. If light were taken away or the sun. There would only be black and white. It’s more of the tone in the color than anything else. The pigment

Many are guessing the same thing, don’t second guess yourself, take a look at each detail closely.

The answer will not be given until the end, only hints and ideas will be given towards the answer.

Within your imagination what do you see?

Finished sketch.

This is the finished sketch. Drawing this was quite sudden. It was a fast decision, the paper was put on the drawing table. The final product was produced in a long but short period. Only took me about 8 hours. But only took one day not a few as usual.

I’ve said this in my past posts. The speed I’m drawing at seems to be increasing slowly but surely. The ease and thoughts disappear and only art is the true focus. When all thoughts are canceled and the only focus is art. You get lost in your own work, finding a place to follow at and you get lost on an adventure.

My best way of explaining it is this. The chair is the beginning of the trail for each time I draw. Imagine a wooden hiking sign, without a name written on it. The name is blank and you create what happens. When the pencil is put on the paper I begin walking down the path, depending on how I feel in each moment determines the path of the route. Places that were seen and actions experienced upon. The actions and things that were seen create the adventure/trail

The whole idea or purpose is to focus like a child and have fun each time I draw, don’t force my legs dragging each step. Enjoy the steps taken and appreciate every scenery exposed to or seen on the trail. That’s the drawing process, the walking down the path, to enjoy it and not force or autopilot it.

Don’t like to boast about myself, but thought I would share this with you. If I can improve my art skills so can you. The results happen right in front of your eyes. This works with everything else as well. Not to say I’m better than you, but to show how anyone can improve at something. It just takes time and effort. In the end, things will slowly add up and make sense. If I were to force and rush each drawing the original beauty will be lost. The true potential won’t be shown. Take it easy but still make sure things are happening

Remember to never give up on yourself, then no progress will be shown. Even if it’s a little amount who cares 1% is greater than -1% any amount is greater. Make each day feel awesome.

With the image being where it’s, what do you see? look at all details and shapes. The possibilities could never end, use that imagination of yours.

New sketch (Almost complete)

spider

Here is how far I am at the moment. Probably should have stopped sooner to take a picture. Was to in the moments of making the drawing, didn’t want to take a picture till later.

Sorry about that, meant to take a picture sooner. If I could make a flip book of every segment you could watch the sketch build up over time. When I get a camera, maybe I can figure something out like that.

In the process of making this drawing, I’ve noticed my speed keeps increasing every time. My old self would have taken a few days or a while to sketch this. Instead, it took about 3 sessions for today. Still, have a little more time draw after I post. So about 6 plus hours as of right now.

My mind tells me when it’s time for a break, then a new session is started. Usually, last around 2 or so hours each. Unless it’s a day where time is completely lost and hours and hours go by and I forget to eat. Depends on the day.

With where the sketch is at so far, what do your eyes see in the image?

Remember only hints and clues will be given, good luck guessing. Use that imagination of yours to the fullest potential. Anything could be in the image, look closely.

This one is a bit different, having fun with it. Let’s see where this one goes.

Multi Dimensional Cactus landscape.

cactus

Here is the final and complete painting. I had a lot of fun creating this one.

The feel with paint is a lot different than colored pencils. More child like and less weight on the paper. More free you can say.

When thinking about popular or well known art pieces usually they are paintings. I think I know why, it makes sense in my mind. The canvas cost quite a lot. paint is expensive. Paintings just seem to value more in general. That could be why. Looking at paintings up close is very interesting. you can see every stroke and emotion put into the canvas.

With a drawing you can’t really see where the person started or the strokes, but still as interesting. Don’t get me wrong.

I wish I could paint more after making this, in the painting mood now. Only if I could not care and paint on canvas after canvas. I’ll start painting on things besides canvas, it’s a thought hahaha.

This is a painting of a few cacti, in a field. If you look closely at all the details and colors, using your imagination. You can create a solid picture. I will not tell you what I have painted in the background. That’s for you to create within your mind. What would the purpose of art be if you were given the answer every time.

The guesses for this painting were all over the place Like usual. A few people had a very intricate description of what they saw. On the previous posts. Very good eyes you have, artists see alike.

Your assignment is to look at this painting and create whatever picture you want in your mind.

If you don’t see a cactus at all or anything else. That’s okay, all I ask for is for you to enjoy my work.

If all you happen to see is a bunch of crumpled up colors so be it. Anything is possible. like I always say, my art is neither correct or incorrect. It’s whatever the viewer imagines.

I can say everything I want, but it won’t matter in the end. because you won’t see what I see. You only see what you see. We’ll all see different colors, shapes and figures.

Goodluck.

An array of colors.

array

Right here seemed to be a good spot to stop and take a picture.

There’s just enough left to paint where I think I’ll have it done next time I post. Not going to rush this, as normal. Taking my time.

With the style I have, the figures and shapes might be difficult to make up. That’s where your imagination kicks in and you stand back and take a look for yourself.

What do you see? The way I paint this isn’t really correct or incorrect, not sure how to explain it. Thinking everyone will understand.

Look closely at the colors and think of objects that happen to be those colors. After that the colors turn into solid shapes. Creating the picture you see in front of your eyes.

But then again, if I draw something not its original color. You’ll never know. The ideas and answers can go on forever. Find one that fits best with you, and stick with it.

The colors and shapes are different for all of us. It’s just how you interpret the picture.

I could explain every little detail in this painting, but if I were to do that it would take a century.

There’s no answer in art, so don’t look for one. Paint as you please and the picture will start making itself in the moment. Be anxiety free and breath. Eveything will be okay in the end.

At times I feel like I’m racing myself to finish the painting, but when I think of an answer, there’s none. Put this into perspective. The moment you create the picture, is the same moment you completed the picture. All moments are the same. So in reality there’s no rush it’s all created in the imagination. To confuse the mind is quite easy, be careful.

Just relax and paint, out of rushing and greed. I’ll ruin the true potential of each piece I make. To never show what I truly have hidden within me.

Enjoy the picture how you please, use that imagination of yours and start bending it around in all different positions.

Paint added to the canvas.

catus

When I applied the first stroke of paint to the canvas, I was feeling iffy on how this will turn out.

Like I said before It has been around 1.5-2 years. Haven’t painted something since I’ve been in high school. Don’t have random canvases and paints laying everywhere. I wish I did, maybe one day.

For art being such an expensive subject. Materials can be costly. Which is very ironic in a way, the starving artist saying. No money, but still somehow can afford expensive art supplies over food.

Never really understood why art materials cost so much, but then again, it makes total sense in the end.

Whenever making art I try my best to apply the rule of no anxiety and just Create. I can’t have a second voice in my mind while painting. The painting just needs to be painted without second and third guessing.

Paint, breath and hope for the best outcome. Never give up, but don’t put too much work into your work. Just the perfect amount where you can go at a constant jog and feel comfortable.

Saying that, here I continue painting this and the future will give us an answer.

As of right now I’m feeling decent about where I’m at. It takes a while of filling in the colors and pieces till everything makes sense. using the style I use under certain moments my eyes get very strained with all the lines and colors.

When that happens, I have to take a moment to breath and realize everything is okay. To paint under pressure isn’t to even paint at all, but similar to forcing a job/duty that you don’t even enjoy. Destoying the purpose of true art.

Use love when creating art not tension and anxiety.

As of right now, what do you see in the image above?

Thank you everyone, have a great evening!

Update on canvas.

2-2
Sbketch on paper

I started making a sketch for the painting. I always end up putting too much detail into sketches that are’nt needed. opps more practice time, nothings going to hurt me.

After realizing I was putting too much detail into the sketch. I started just drawing out the bigger parts as you can see. The rest I’ll add as I paint and while I finished the sketch on the canvas.

Finishing the sketch, needed to transfer it somehow to the canvas.

Remembering I have a graphite stick somewhere. I looked for it, found it. Scribbled all over the back of the sketch. Pushed the pencil down on the bold areas quite aggressively.

1-2
Canvas

Here’s what the canvas looks like.

The larger parts of the drawing were showing, not all the little detail. Added that later.

Over time, as I paint, I’ll add little details here and there.

Should have taken a picture, but I was too in the moment of drawing this. Forgot to take a picture.

Took a picture of the final sketch and canvas. Thought it would be interesting to see both.

Empty canvas 10x20cm

cavas

Here we go, I’m going to attempt to create a painting. It has been the longest time since I’ve painted.

I’m neither a good painter or a bad painter. I’ll see what I can come up with. There’s a theme or certain ideas I’m thinking about.

If I fail, I fail. At least I created something.

Something is better than nothing being created at all.

If you ever get artist block just start scribbling like a child with colors with no direction and see what you come up, for all we know it could be a “masterpiece”.

Will create some sketches before I draw on the canvas, Thank you everyone.
